Reporting an error
Please include the address of the page, the figure or sentence you think is wrong, and a link to a source for the right information if you have one. We check every report against the source. Our corrections page explains what happens next.
Questions about your own home
We sell and install nothing, so we can’t size your system, review your quote, diagnose a fault, say whether you qualify for a rebate or recommend an installer. Our guides and calculators show the math and which questions to ask. A qualified installer sizes and prices the real job, and the program or a tax professional decides what applies to you.
In an emergency, don’t email. If you smell gas, leave the area and call 911 from well away (PHMSA). If you suspect carbon monoxide poisoning, get outside to fresh air immediately and then call 911 (CPSC).
Installers, advertisers and companies
We don’t sell sponsored posts, links, reviews, listings or placements, and we don’t take affiliate deals, sell leads, give quotes or make installer referrals. If you run a program we cover, publish a figure we cite, or make a product we describe, and a fact on our page is wrong, send a source and we will check it like any other report.
